Longing for More
I used to marvel at how pastors effortlessly uncovered deep truths from Scripture, and how my friend seemed to glean so much from God's Word regularly.
I found myself longing for more.
I yearned to discover these truths on my own, but I struggled to know where to start or what to do. God, in His kindness still met me in my efforts, but I've since done a lot of learning. Now it is my passion to help others connect deeply to God!
Growing & Changing
Over the years, I had mentors, training, and Bible courses that slowly began to teach me methods to unlocking the Scriptures. As I applied what I learned, and partnered with the Spirit, my life was transformed to new levels of freedom in Christ through the Scriptures. Soon, I wanted everyone to experience God like I did!
Fast forward a few more years, and God led me to switch from teaching 4th graders in Peru, to teaching Bible classes to middle schoolers in California. I must admit, the thought of returning to the middle school years initially seemed daunting. Shy, insecure, middle school Megan was intimidated all over again. Today however, I've grown to cherish mentoring and teaching these young minds. It’s also deepened my understanding of how to guide others in their Bible study journey.
Creating & Sharing
As I was making templates for my students to use, it struck me that these resources could greatly benefit others in their Bible study journey. After taking step back from ministry to focus on my students and embrace the joys of my first year of marriage (hooray!), the idea for Mindful Templates was born out of my deep-seated desire to help women cultivate a genuine love for Scripture and encounter God through its pages.
Armed with the knowledge, experience, and passion I've acquired along the way, I am here to guide you toward a more profound connection with God's Word.
